Role Overview:
The RN Clinical Nurse is a vital member of an interdisciplinary care team, providing high-quality, safe, and patient-centered care. They perform the nursing process—assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation—using evidence-based practices and critical thinking to deliver individualized care. The role emphasizes partnering with patients and families, respecting cultural diversity, and ensuring care aligns with patient goals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver relationship-based, culturally competent patient care and maintain effective communication with the care team.
- Coordinate and document safe, quality care; support performance improvement initiatives and shared governance.
- Participate in professional development, serve as a preceptor or mentor, and uphold standards of nursing practice and ethics.
- Promote evidence-based practice, research, and data collection to enhance patient outcomes.
- Assist in developing protocols, optimize resource use, and contribute to system-wide care improvements.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Associate’s Degree in nursing required; Bachelor’s preferred.
- Active RN license (single or multi-state), BLS certification, and BLS Instructor or Provisional certification.
- Less than one year of clinical experience preferred.
- Strong clinical judgment, teamwork, communication, and a commitment to professional growth.
