Registered Nurse (RN) – Medical-Surgical Acute Care/Post Surgical/Burn/Bariatric – Full-Time Days

Role: The RN Clinical Nurse is a vital member of an interdisciplinary team, providing high-quality, safe, and individualized patient care in a clinical setting. They practice based on evidence, current standards, and organizational models, ensuring patient-centered care that respects cultural diversity.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform the nursing process—assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation—using critical thinking and evidence-based practice.
  • Partner with patients and families through effective communication, education, and shared decision-making to achieve optimal outcomes.
  • Coordinate and document safe, quality care within a respectful, inclusive environment, promoting teamwork and collaboration across disciplines.
  • Support performance improvement initiatives, participate in research, and uphold organizational policies, safety standards, and regulatory requirements.
  • Contribute to professional development by mentoring, ongoing competency assessments, and embracing evidence-based practice and research activities.
  • Assist in developing protocols to enhance care outcomes and optimize resource use.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Minimum of 5 years RN experience, with direct patient care preferred.
  • Associates or Diploma in Nursing; Bachelor’s preferred.
  • Current RN license (single or multi-state), BLS certification required.
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, and computer skills, with the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment and respond effectively to emergencies.
  • Ability to practice with professionalism, analytical thinking, and cultural sensitivity.
