Join a dynamic float pool team supporting two Magnet®-recognized hospitals in providing flexible, high-quality patient care across ICU, Emergency Department, and Medical Telemetry units.
This role offers opportunities for clinical variety, professional growth, and teamwork in a fast-paced environment. You will deliver direct patient care, develop and implement individualized care plans, and educate patients and families on management and post-treatment needs.
Responsibilities include:
- Promoting patient- and family-centered care with education on illness management
- Participating in safety, quality, and compliance activities
- Assessing physical, psychosocial, and emotional needs, considering patient preferences
- Documenting care plans and ensuring effective communication across care teams
Qualifications:
- Minimum of two years of acute care experience required
- RN license with a Nursing Diploma/Associate’s degree; Bachelor’s preferred
- Experience in ICU, Emergency Department, or Telemetry is preferred
- Certifications such as BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS (PALS for ED) are advantageous
- Strong IV therapy skills and telemetry interpretation experience are preferred
