Role Overview
Join a dynamic float pool supporting two Magnet®-recognized hospitals, providing clinical variety across ICU, Emergency Department, and Medical Telemetry. This full-time night role involves delivering patient-centered care, assessing and planning treatments, and ensuring safety and quality standards. Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care, including assessment, diagnosis, and care planning.
- Educate patients and families on managing their conditions and post-treatment needs.
- Participate in safety, quality, and regulatory activities, collaborating with the healthcare team.
- Develop and communicate individualized care plans, considering patient preferences and cultural needs.
- Use critical nursing skills to evaluate physical, emotional, and psychosocial needs.
Qualifications & Skills
- Minimum of two years of acute care experience.
- Current RN licensure.
- Preferred: Bachelor’s degree in Nursing, ICU/Emergency experience, BLS, ACLS, NIHSS/PALS, telemetry interpretation, and IV skills.
- Ability to work in a safety-sensitive environment with alertness and professionalism.
