Role: The RN Clinical Periop Nurse is a proactive member of an interdisciplinary team providing high-quality, safe patient care in the operating room environment.
Responsibilities: Perform the nursing process using evidence-based practice; deliver patient-centered care tailored to diverse populations; collaborate effectively with team members; participate in performance improvement, research, and professional development; serve as a preceptor or mentor; promote adherence to policies, standards, and safety protocols; and support resource management.
Qualifications: Requires an Associate, Diploma, or Bachelor’s Nursing degree, valid RN licensure (single or multi-state), BLS certification, and a minimum of 5 years of direct patient care experience.
