The Registered Nurse (RN) – Cardiology provides professional nursing care in a clinic setting, focusing on assessment, treatment, and patient care coordination.
They perform cardiovascular assessments, interpret lab and diagnostic data, assist with procedures like EKGs and stress tests, and administer medications per physician instructions.
The role includes patient education, triage calls, and maintaining confidentiality per HIPAA.
Candidates need at least 1 year of RN experience with cardiac or telemetry patients and relevant licensure (RN license, BLS).
Preferred qualifications include 2+ years of cardiology clinic experience and additional certifications such as ACLS or CCRN.
This position requires a professional attitude, teamwork, and the ability to perform clinical duties.
Work hours are Monday to Friday, 8:00 am to 4:30 pm.
