Registered Nurse (RN) – Acute Care Surgical Unit – Full-Time Days

Role Overview: The RN Clinical Nurse collaborates within an interdisciplinary team to deliver individualized, high-quality, and safe patient care in a clinical setting. They follow evidence-based practices guided by organizational models and uphold the standards set by nursing regulations and ethics.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform comprehensive nursing assessments, diagnoses, planning, implementation, and evaluation to achieve optimal patient outcomes.
  • Provide relationship-based, patient-centered care tailored to diverse populations and cultural backgrounds.
  • Partner with patients and families through effective communication methods, ensuring their goals guide care planning.
  • Coordinate safe, quality care through interdisciplinary collaboration, documentation, and fostering a respectful environment.
  • Support performance improvement initiatives, research, and evidence-based practice to enhance care quality.
  • Participate in professional development, mentoring, and serve as a preceptor to foster a skilled workforce.
  • Contribute to protocol development, resource management, and compliance with safety and organizational policies.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Associate or Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing.
  • Active RN license (single-state or multi-state compact) and BLS certification.
  • Minimum of 2 years of direct patient care experience.
  • Strong communication, critical thinking, time management, and computer skills.
  • Ability to function effectively in fast-paced and emergency situations.
