Role Overview: The RN Clinical Nurse collaborates within an interdisciplinary team to deliver high-quality, safe, and individualized patient care in a clinical setting supported by evidence-based practice and organizational models. They ensure patient-centered care by assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating care while considering cultural diversity and patient involvement.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform the nursing process using critical thinking to achieve optimal patient outcomes.
- Partner with patients and families through effective communication and shared decision-making.
- Document care accurately, promote a respectful environment, and coordinate interdisciplinary care.
- Support performance improvement activities, research, and evidence-based practice initiatives.
- Mentor and serve as a preceptor for other nurses and staff, fostering professional growth.
- Participate in protocol development, resource management, and compliance with safety standards and policies.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Associates or Bachelor’s Nursing degree; Bachelor’s preferred.
- Current valid RN license (single or multi-state license).
- Minimum of 5 years RN experience in direct patient care.
- Certifications in BLS and other relevant credentials required upon hire.
- Strong interpersonal, collaboration, and customer service skills.
- Excellent time management, critical thinking, and proficiency with clinical technology.
