Registered Nurse (RN) – Acute Care Oncology (PRN)

Role Overview: The Registered Nurse provides high-quality patient care by assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating patient needs within a supportive environment. They act as a key link between patients, families, and healthcare providers, ensuring effective communication and advocacy.


Core Responsibilities:

  • Patient Care & Care Coordination: Monitor and evaluate patient conditions, assist with care plans, deliver safe care, document assessments and interventions, and prioritize patient flow.
  • Patient Advocacy & Satisfaction: Address patient concerns, provide health education, communicate with families and staff, and support patient- and family-centered care.
  • Performance Improvement: Participate in initiatives to enhance quality, safety, patient satisfaction, and organizational performance.
  • Professional Growth & Leadership: Maintain licenses, pursue development opportunities, mentor peers, promote professionalism, and support a positive work environment.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Associate’s, Bachelor’s, or Master’s in Nursing (preferred)
  • Current Basic Life Support (BLS) and multi-state RN license
  • At least one year of nursing experience for PRN roles
