Registered Nurse (RN) – Acute Care Oncology

Role Overview: The Registered Nurse provides high-quality nursing care by collaborating with the patient care team to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient needs in a supportive environment. They serve as a key communication link between patients, families, and healthcare providers, ensuring patient-centered care and satisfaction.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Monitor, examine, and evaluate patient conditions; assist with care planning and take appropriate actions to promote outcomes.
  • Deliver care according to established plans, using independent judgment; document assessments, interventions, and incidents accurately.
  • Advocate for patients by listening to concerns, providing education, and communicating information to families and staff.
  • Participate in performance improvement initiatives, supporting organizational goals for quality and satisfaction.
  • Maintain professional licensure, certifications, and stay current with industry best practices.
  • Mentor and support colleagues, fostering a positive work environment and promoting professional growth.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Associates Degree in Nursing or Diploma required; Bachelor’s preferred.
  • Current RN licensure and certifications such as BLS are required at hire.
  • Strong communication, teamwork, and critical thinking skills; commitment to confidentiality and safety.
