Registered Nurse (RN) – Acute Care

Role Overview: The Registered Nurse provides high-quality nursing care by assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating patient needs within a collaborative care team. They serve as a primary advocate for patients and families, ensuring safety, satisfaction, and effective communication. The nurse participates in performance improvement initiatives, maintains professional competence, mentors colleagues, and upholds confidentiality and safety standards.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Monitor and evaluate patient conditions, assist with care planning, and deliver safe, effective care according to policies.
  • Coordinate patient care, prioritize daily workflow, and document assessments, interventions, and outcomes accurately.
  • Respond to patient needs, advocate for patient and family satisfaction, and communicate essential information to care teams.
  • Contribute to quality improvement efforts and support organizational initiatives for better outcomes.
  • Maintain licensure, certifications, and participate in ongoing professional development.
  • Mentor and support the growth of other nurses, fostering a positive, professional work environment.

Qualifications:

  • Associates or Diploma in Nursing (Bachelors preferred).
  • Valid RN license, either multi-state compact or single-state.
  • Current BLS certification.
