Registered Nurse (RN) – Acute Care

Role Overview: The Registered Nurse provides high-quality nursing care by assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating patient needs in collaboration with the care team. They serve as a key communication link between patients, families, and healthcare providers, ensuring patient-centered care and satisfaction.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Monitor and evaluate patient conditions; assist with care planning and deliver safe, effective care according to policies.
  • Document assessments, care provided, and changes in patient status accurately.
  • Advocate for patients by addressing concerns, providing education, and ensuring communication with families and staff.
  • Participate in performance improvement initiatives, contributing ideas for process enhancements.
  • Maintain professional competencies through ongoing training, certifications, and involvement in professional organizations.
  • Mentor and support colleagues, fostering a positive work environment and promoting professional growth.
  • Adhere to confidentiality, safety, and professional standards, supporting shared governance principles.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Nursing (preferred).
  • Current RN license and required certifications, including BLS.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong communication, critical thinking, and patient advocacy skills.

This role involves providing compassionate patient care, supporting performance improvement, and contributing to a collaborative healthcare team in a night shift setting.
