Role Overview: The Registered Nurse provides high-quality nursing care by collaborating with the patient care team to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient needs. They serve as a key communicator between patients, families, and healthcare providers, ensuring patient-centered care and satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:
- Monitor, examine, and evaluate patient conditions; assist with care planning and deliver safe, effective care following policies and procedures.
- Document assessments, care provided, patient education, and incidents accurately.
- Advocate for patients by addressing concerns, providing education, and communicating vital information to families and staff.
- Participate in performance improvement initiatives, contribute ideas, and support organizational quality outcomes.
- Maintain professional licensure, certifications, and engage in ongoing training and development.
- Mentor and support colleagues, promote a positive work environment, and uphold professional standards and confidentiality.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Associates or Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing (Bachelors preferred).
- Current RN licensure (single or multi-state compact).
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification, instructor preferred.
- Strong communication, clinical judgment, and teamwork skills.
