Registered Nurse – Pulmonary Care – Full Time (Nights)

Role Overview:

Seeking a Registered Nurse to provide high-quality care in a 9-bed pulmonary progressive care unit, focusing on patients with acute conditions such as lung transplants, pulmonary hypertension, ventilator dependence, and related therapies. The nurse collaborates closely with physicians and a multidisciplinary team, including advanced practice nurses, case managers, social workers, and therapists, to deliver timely treatment and patient rehabilitation.

Responsibilities:

  • Deliver patient- and family-centered care through assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation of nursing activities.
  • Educate patients and families on managing illnesses, post-treatment care, and medication administration.
  • Participate in safety, quality, and compliance initiatives, and engage in ongoing professional development.
  • Create and communicate individualized care plans aligned with standards and patient needs, considering psychosocial, emotional, spiritual, and cultural factors.
  • Utilize critical nursing skills for comprehensive assessment and evaluation across physical and emotional domains.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum: Nursing Diploma or Associate’s Degree, RN license, no prior experience required.
  • Preferred: Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing with at least 2 years of experience.
