Position Overview

Location: Mercy Hospital Stoddard, Dexter, MO
Department: ER
Schedule: PRN with varying/rotating shifts

Qualifications & Skills

• Graduate from an accredited nursing program (Associate’s, Diploma, or BSN)
• Current RN licensure in the state or compact licensure
• Physical ability to push, pull, lift 50 pounds, and stand or walk for extended periods
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification; additional certifications such as ACLS, NRP, ENPC, TNCC, and others may be required based on unit

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care using the nursing process
• Assess and evaluate patient needs and care effectiveness
• Ensure patient rights, confidentiality, and safety
• Collaborate with healthcare team members to coordinate care

Preferred qualifications include advanced certifications and specialized experience, which enhance patient care capabilities.
