Role: Registered nurse providing high-level nursing care to patients, primarily in NICU, utilizing the nursing process (assessment, planning, implementation, evaluation).
Responsibilities: Delivering direct and indirect patient care, ensuring a safe and therapeutic environment, communicating effectively with patients, families, and team members, and maintaining accurate documentation. Promotes teamwork, adheres to hospital standards, and takes initiative for professional growth. Uses nursing skills to administer medications and IV therapies safely and timely, and educates patients and families.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Graduate of an accredited nursing program
- Current Basic Life Support Certification
- Valid nursing license in Texas or eligibility
- Minimum of 1 year NICU RN experience
