Role: Provide immediate post-operative nursing care to surgical patients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver airway support and perform cardiac and neurological monitoring.
- Provide wound care and maintain safe, evidence-based patient management.
- Assess, recognize, and respond promptly to post-operative complications.
- Evaluate patient status, administer appropriate post-operative interventions, and document findings accurately.
- Educate patients and families on treatment plans and required follow-up care.
- Collaborate with surgical, anesthesia, and interdisciplinary teams to coordinate care.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking in post-operative settings.
- Proficiency in monitoring and supporting airway, cardiac, and neurological function.
- Knowledge of wound care and complication management.
- Excellent communication and documentation skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team and provide patient-centered education.
On-Call Requirement: On-call availability during select non-business hours is required.
