Role Overview: This position involves providing professional nursing care in a Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU), ensuring compliance with state laws and hospital policies. The RN assesses patient conditions, recognizes changes, plans and evaluates care, monitors progress, and documents observations. Delegating appropriate tasks and functioning as a team member are essential responsibilities.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Current Illinois RN licensure required
- BSN degree preferred
- BLS and PALS certifications through AHA
- Minimum of 18 months recent inpatient PICU experience
