Role Overview: Provides comprehensive inpatient nursing care in a fast-paced, 24-bed advanced acute care unit. Responsible for assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating patient care to meet clinical needs and promote safety, satisfaction, and compassionate interactions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conducts assessments and addresses physical, psychological, social, cultural, and spiritual needs of patients and families.
- Develops and coordinates personalized care plans, including education, discharge planning, and interdisciplinary collaboration.
- Delivers direct patient care such as treatments, medications, and diagnostic procedures.
- Evaluates intervention effectiveness and adjusts care plans accordingly.
- Collaborates proactively with physicians and healthcare team members to resolve patient needs.
- Troubleshoots equipment issues and participates in evidence-based practice decision-making.
- Contributes to quality and safety initiatives, patient experience improvements, and unit goals.
Qualifications & Skills: Graduate from a nursing specialty training program; compassionate care provider; team-oriented with strong communication skills; adaptable to a dynamic environment.
