Role Overview:
Provides patient care utilizing the nursing process, ensuring professional accountability and evaluating the effectiveness of care delivered by other caregivers. Coordinates patient care across departments, maintains patient rights and confidentiality, and adheres to organizational standards.
Responsibilities:
Select shifts (day/night) with no mandatory weekends or holidays. Flexibility is required for scheduling, short-notice shifts, and cancellations. Duties include delivering bedside nursing in various departments such as Behavioral Health, Emergency, ICU, Medical-Surgical, and Women’s Health across multiple facilities. Ensures compliance with care standards and maintains patient rights.
Qualifications & Skills:
Graduate of an accredited nursing program; BSN preferred. Current RN license in the state or compact licensure. Minimum of one year recent Med Surg experience; two years for specialty areas. Certifications include BLS; ACLS and PALS for critical areas. Physical ability to lift up to 50 pounds, stand, walk, and perform physical tasks.
