Position Overview: Provides specialized nursing care in a 16-bed pediatric intensive care unit, focusing on family-centered care. Responsible for delivering high-quality patient care during night shifts, including weekends and holidays, within a full-time schedule.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care in accordance with clinical standards.
- Collaborate with healthcare team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
- Maintain accurate documentation and adhere to safety protocols.
- Participate in family education and support.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Illinois RN license; Associate Degree in Nursing (Bachelor’s preferred within five years if only an Associate Degree).
- Current BLS certification; PALS required within three months of hire.
- Experience in pediatric ICU settings is preferred.
