Responsibilities include:
- Monitoring patient volumes and coordinating patient placement based on acuity levels.
- Communicating patient flow activities and issues to appropriate personnel and leadership.
- Assisting in bed management and coordinating with departments to address delays and barriers.
- Utilizing tele-tracking tools to identify available beds and facilitate transfers.
- Ensuring timely discharge and room turnover, providing comprehensive shift reports, and supporting clinical needs.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Graduate from a Specialty Training Program in Nursing; Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing preferred.
- Strong organizational, communication, and resource utilization skills.
- Ability to serve as a professional role model and foster effective relationships with staff and leadership.
