Position: Registered Nurse – Orthopedic Unit
Location: Northwest Community Hospital, Arlington Heights, IL
Type: Full Time, 36 hours/week
Hours: 7:00am – 7:30pm, every other weekend required
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct patient assessments and gather health data involving patients, families, and healthcare providers
- Coordinate and develop individualized care plans ensuring safe, effective, and timely interventions
- Communicate clearly with patients, families, and team members in person, by phone, and in writing
- Personalize patient and family education based on thorough assessments
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to evaluate nursing practice effectiveness
- Maintain current knowledge of nursing standards, laws, and regulations
Qualifications & Skills:
- Associate’s degree or BSN from an accredited nursing program
- Active nursing license in Illinois
- CPR certification from the American Heart Association
