Position: Registered Nurse providing perioperative care in a hospital setting, with the flexibility to float to multiple locations.
Responsibilities include:
- Delivering direct patient care to pediatric, adult, and geriatric populations during the perioperative period.
- Assessing surgical environments for safety concerns and intervening appropriately.
- Collaborating with the surgical team to facilitate procedures.
- Mentoring new staff, participating in educational programs, and managing supplies and equipment.
Qualifications and skills:
- Graduate of an approved nursing school; BSN preferred.
- Valid IL RN license and CPR/BLS certification.
- Two years of perioperative RN experience preferred.
- Basic computer skills.
