Role Overview: Responsible for delivering patient care in accordance with state nursing standards, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation. Provides direct care such as treatments, medications, and diagnostic studies, while addressing patients’ physical, psychological, social, cultural, and spiritual needs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Formulates and coordinates individualized care plans, including patient and family education and discharge planning.
- Evaluates intervention effectiveness and adjusts care as needed.
- Collaborates with physicians, ancillary staff, and interdisciplinary team members to meet patient needs.
- Delegates tasks based on team members’ skills and patient acuity, promoting teamwork and safety.
- Participates in quality improvement initiatives, evidence-based practice, and safety programs.
- Supports unit decision-making and contributes to a positive work environment.
Qualifications & Skills: Graduate from a nursing specialty training program; preferred experience in operating room scrub role; ability to work in a clinical environment, adapt to shift rotations, and respond promptly during on-call situations.
