Role: Oversees nursing care on a designated unit, ensuring high-quality, safe, and cost-effective patient care. Provides direct patient care and supervises staff, including orientation, performance evaluations, and addressing performance issues.
Responsibilities: Manages staffing, scheduling, supply orders, and patient triage. Communicates care activities, policies, and unit issues to staff and management. Supports evidence-based practices, mentors staff, and ensures regulatory compliance. Addresses patient and family concerns, documents incidents, and promotes a positive work environment aligned with Magnet principles.
Qualifications & Skills: Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing, enrollment in BSN program, and at least 2 years of nursing experience. Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills are essential. Ability to interpret policies, facilitate teamwork, and manage resources effectively.
