Role: Provides leadership and coordination of nursing staff to ensure quality patient care and achievement of clinical objectives.
Responsibilities:
- Assigns, supervises, and evaluates nursing and support staff during shifts.
- Assesses patient care needs, develops care assignments, and ensures appropriate care delivery.
- Collaborates with advanced practice providers to optimize outcomes.
- Monitors and evaluates patient care effectiveness, addressing issues impacting outcomes.
- Handles patient care complaints and participates in staff hiring, training, and development.
- Performs other duties as assigned, maintaining safety and alertness.
Qualifications:
- Graduate of accredited nursing program or equivalent.
- At least one year of registered nurse experience.
- Valid RN license and BLS certification per state requirements.
Physical and professional skills: Standing, walking, lifting, reaching, data entry, visual and auditory acuity, and occasional patient handling.
