Registered Nurse – Neuro Critical Care – Full-Time Nights

Role: The Staff Nurse provides highly professional, technical, and patient-centered nursing care in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Utilize the nursing process (assessment, planning, implementation, evaluation) to deliver quality care.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure age-appropriate care.
  • Maintain clear, accurate communication with patients, families, and colleagues.
  • Create a safe, therapeutic environment, ensuring timely medication and IV administration.
  • Supervise and direct team members, promote professional growth, and improve patient experience.
  • Adhere to hospital standards, policies, and confidentiality requirements.
  • Engage in ongoing professional development and performance accountability.
  • Support the hospital’s mission, vision, and strategic goals.

  • Qualifications & Skills:
  • Graduate of an accredited nursing program; BSN preferred.
  • Current nursing license in Texas.
  • Basic Life Support certification; additional certifications as needed.
  • Minimum of 12 months RN experience or completion of Nurse Residency.
  • Knowledge of hospital policies, procedures, and care standards.
  • Strong communication, interpersonal, and team-building skills.
  • Ability to handle confidential information and work safely in a clinical setting.

  • Key Duties:
  • Provide direct and indirect patient care.
  • Support patient education and family communication.
  • Maintain documentation and ensure compliance with safety standards.
  • Contribute to a collaborative, efficient work environment.
  • Participate in continuous improvement initiatives and professional development.
