Role Overview: This position is for an experienced Med Surg RN to join a high-impact, multi-campus care team supporting inpatient care. The role involves delivering personalized, evidence-based nursing care, building meaningful patient and family connections, and driving clinical outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Own the nursing process from assessment to evaluation, ensuring quality care.
- Foster a safe, respectful environment promoting teamwork and collaboration.
- Participate in performance improvement, research, and shared governance initiatives.
- Lead evidence-based practices, contribute to patient care decisions, and support safety initiatives.
- Plan proactive resource management across the patient care journey, improving protocols and reducing readmissions.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Graduate of an accredited nursing program; BSN preferred.
- Current RN license (single or multi-state), BLS, and ACLS certifications.
- Minimum of 2 years recent Med Surg experience and familiarity with computer data entry.
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and tech skills, with the ability to remain calm under pressure.
- Critical thinking, time management, and commitment to evidence-based practice.
