Registered Nurse – Medical Surgical Unit

Role Overview: The Inpatient Registered Nurse provides comprehensive patient care in a clinical setting, assessing needs, developing and implementing care plans, and coordinating with interdisciplinary teams.

Key Responsibilities: Conduct assessments, address physical, psychological, social, cultural, and spiritual needs, administer treatments and medications, evaluate intervention effectiveness, and revise care plans accordingly. Collaborate proactively with physicians and staff, troubleshoot equipment issues, participate in evidence-based practice decisions, and contribute to quality and safety initiatives.

Qualifications & Skills: Graduate from a specialty nursing program; Bachelor’s degree preferred. Must meet licensure and certification requirements. Demonstrate compassionate care, teamwork, problem-solving, and adherence to policies.

Work Environment & Schedule: Typically performed in a clinical setting with hours from 7 am to 7:30 pm, including every other weekend and holiday.
