Role Overview: The registered nurse practices independently in a clinical setting, providing both routine and complex patient care while demonstrating awareness of all relevant aspects of each situation. They assign and delegate tasks to care providers to effectively manage clinical scenarios, ensuring quality care.
Key Responsibilities:
Utilize the nursing process—assessment, diagnosis, planning, intervention, and evaluation—for assigned patients
Address psychological, emotional, cultural, and social needs of patients and families in accordance with practice standards
Administer medications and treatments following protocols, monitor for side effects and effectiveness
Document patient history, symptoms, medication, and care provided
Assess learning needs and educate patients, families, and caregivers, identifying issues and resources
Qualifications & Skills:
Preferred Bachelor of Science in Nursing
Minimum 1 year of experience in a related nursing specialty preferred; new graduates considered
Current RN license and BLS certification; ACLS required
Completion of organizational onboarding and annual competency requirements
Additional certifications such as PALS, TNCC, NRP, and Fetal Heart Monitoring may be required within specified timeframes

Work schedule is full-time, from 7 PM to 7 AM
