The Registered Nurse (RN) provides high-quality patient care by applying nursing knowledge compassionately and efficiently.
Key responsibilities include:
- Assessing patient needs and conditions to deliver appropriate care in their unit.
- Analyzing medical history, diagnostics, and current status to develop personalized care plans.
- Preparing and administering medications and treatments to ensure effective patient care.
- Reconciliation of medical records for accuracy and regulatory compliance.
- Monitoring patient responses and adjusting interventions to meet care goals.
- Collaborating with interdisciplinary teams for comprehensive care planning.
- Performing additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Associate’s Degree in Nursing required; Bachelor’s preferred.
- Minimum of 1 year of RN experience; specialty experience preferred.
- Valid RN license in North Carolina or a Compact state.
- Current BLS certification from American Red Cross or AHA.
