Medical-Surgical/Intermediate Care Nurse
Provide compassionate, evidence-based nursing care to adult patients with diverse medical conditions. Perform comprehensive assessment, develop and execute nursing care plans, and evaluate outcomes to ensure safe, effective care.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage complex patient cases and implement appropriate nursing interventions
- Administer medications and monitor patient responses
- Monitor telemetry when indicated
- Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to coordinate care
- Educate patients and families and support informed decision-making
- Assist with safe discharge planning
Qualifications & Skills
- Current RN licensure
- Strong clinical judgment, assessment, and care-planning skills
- Ability to manage patients requiring advanced monitoring
- Effective communication and teamwork with interdisciplinary partners
- Patient-centered approach and commitment to safety
