Registered Nurse -Med/Tele

Role: The Registered Nurse (RN) provides patient-centered care utilizing the nursing process, ensuring safety, effectiveness, and professional accountability for assigned patients.

Responsibilities: Evaluate care effectiveness, coordinate interdisciplinary patient care, uphold patient rights and confidentiality, and perform duties aligned with organizational standards. The RN on the Med/Tele floor manages post-op general surgery, peritoneal dialysis, chest pain, arrhythmias, and general Med/Surg patients, some with complex needs.

Qualifications & Skills: Must have a nursing degree (Associate’s, Diploma, or BSN), hold an active RN license, and obtain BLS certification. Additional certifications like ACLS, PALS, or TNCC may be required based on unit needs. Physical ability to lift 50 lbs, stand, walk, and perform various movements is essential.

Key Duties: Deliver safe, effective care, monitor patient status, collaborate with teams, and maintain high standards of confidentiality and professionalism.
