Role Overview: The staff nurse provides comprehensive nursing care across all age groups, utilizing nursing processes to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care.
Responsibilities: Maintain practice standards, coordinate patient care activities of assigned staff, and ensure delivery of high-quality nursing services within organizational policies and procedures.
Qualifications:
- Graduate from a nursing program (required), Bachelor’s Degree preferred
- No experience required; new graduates eligible
- Hospital experience preferred; 1 year in hospital setting required for PRN
Licenses & Certifications:
- Current Georgia RN license or NLC/eNLC multistate license (required)
- BCLS certification (required)
Additional Certifications: May include ACLS, PALS, CHEMO/Biotherapy, CDN, NRP, among others, depending on specialty area. Certification completion timelines vary, often within 6 months of start.
