Registered Nurse – ICU – Medical

Role Summary: The Registered Nurse provides comprehensive nursing care in Intensive Care Units, assessing, managing, and coordinating patient care activities during hospitalization. They perform age-appropriate assessments, develop and evaluate individualized care plans, and deliver evidence-based interventions.

Key Responsibilities: Conduct ongoing patient assessments, document findings, and establish goals; administer medications and treatments; collaborate with healthcare team; provide patient and family education; recognize and respond to clinical changes; ensure safety and infection control; and deliver respectful, compassionate service.

Qualifications & Skills: Licensed RN in applicable states, with at least one year of experience. Must maintain current certifications (BLS, ALS), demonstrate technical proficiency, adapt to changing demands, and uphold professional standards. Effective communication, teamwork, and adherence to safety policies are essential.

Additional Duties: Participate in quality improvement, evidence-based practice, and research initiatives. Maintain age-specific care competencies and promote service excellence. Uphold hospital values through respectful interactions and safe practices.

Qualifications include: RN license, relevant certifications, and ability to handle emergency/crisis situations. Physical requirements involve mobility and patient handling.
