Position: Registered Nurse
Location: Naperville
Hours: Part-time, 16 hrs/week, 3pm-11:30pm
Responsibilities include: Assessing patients, developing and documenting care plans, collaborating with staff and departments, ensuring safety and therapeutic environment, facilitating patient admissions, transfers, and discharges, and participating in interdisciplinary planning. The role involves supervising patient care, contributing to department goals, and supporting professional development. Actively participates in training, staff orientation, and community outreach to promote mental health awareness.
Qualifications: Nursing degree, current Illinois RN license, CPR/BLS, and CPI certification within 90 days. Preferred candidates have psychiatric experience and knowledge of abnormal psychology.
Skills: Confidentiality, teamwork, communication, and clinical assessment skills. Ability to evaluate and adapt care practices, supervise staff, and work within budget constraints.
