Summary:
This role is for a Registered Nurse (RN) specializing in General Surgery on a part-time basis, working 24 hours per week during day shifts from 7a to 7p.
Responsibilities include: utilizing the nursing process to deliver patient care, evaluating care effectiveness, coordinating with other departments, maintaining patient rights and confidentiality, and ensuring care aligns with organizational standards and values.
Qualifications: graduate of an accredited nursing program, valid RN licensure, BLS certification (required within 30 days), and a minimum of 2 years of patient care experience. Preferred qualifications include supervisory experience and a bachelor’s degree in nursing.
Physical requirements: ability to lift up to 50 lbs, stand and walk for extended periods, and perform physical tasks such as bending and reaching.
