Role Overview: Utilizes the nursing process to deliver patient care, ensuring professional accountability and evaluating the effectiveness of care provided by others. Coordinates patient care in collaboration with departments, maintaining patient rights and confidentiality, and aligning with organizational standards.
Responsibilities: Provides direct patient care, assesses patient needs, implements nursing interventions, and monitors patient outcomes. Supports a team environment by evaluating care quality and ensuring compliance with policies and standards.
Qualifications: Graduated from an accredited nursing program (Associate’s, Diploma, or BSN), with an active RN license in the state or compact licensure. Must obtain and maintain Basic Life Support (BLS) certification, with additional certifications such as ACLS, PALS, or specialty certifications based on the unit requirements.
Skills & Physical Requirements: Ability to lift 50 lbs regularly, stand and walk for extended periods, and perform physical tasks including gripping, reaching, bending, kneeling, and twisting.
