The Registered Professional Nurse is responsible for assessing patient health status, identifying alterations, and responding to actual and potential health issues. They implement nursing interventions based on nursing theories and sciences, evaluating their effectiveness to optimize patient outcomes.
Whenever possible, patients, families, and significant others are involved in assessment, planning, intervention, and evaluation processes. The nurse supervises and delegates care to Licensed Practical Nurses and Unlicensed Assistive Personnel, coordinating with other healthcare professionals as needed.

Qualifications: BSN preferred; nurses hired after April 30, 2014, must obtain a BSN within three years. Certification is preferred or required based on hire date. Must possess a current RN license in Florida.
