Role: Provides patient care utilizing the nursing process, ensuring professional accountability and evaluating care effectiveness. Coordinates patient care with other departments, maintains patient rights and confidentiality, and adheres to organizational standards.
Responsibilities: Performs duties in alignment with mission, values, and standards; evaluates care provided by team members; maintains accurate documentation; collaborates with interdisciplinary teams; and ensures patient safety and quality care.
Qualifications: Requires graduation from a nursing program (Associate’s, Diploma, or BSN), current RN licensure, and adherence to state licensing requirements. Certifications such as BLS, ACLS, PALS, PEARS, or unit-specific credentials may be required or obtained within designated timeframes.
Skills & Physical Demands: Must be able to lift 50 lbs, stand and walk for extended periods, and perform physical tasks including reaching, bending, kneeling, and twisting.
Work Environment: Full-time position in Obstetrics, with shifts including nights, evenings, holidays, and weekends. Emphasis on compassionate, collaborative, and patient-centered care.
