Under general supervision, performs professional nursing duties for patients in specified clinical areas.
Supervises no positions.
Must be able to perform physical activities such as lifting up to 50 lbs, frequent movement, bending, climbing, and twisting. Sufficient vision and hearing, with or without aids, are required.
Work involves exposure to infectious diseases, hazards, and chemicals, with physical activities including sitting, walking, standing, and other movements.
Essential functions include administering medications, delivering patient care, following infection control procedures, and ensuring safety.
Qualifications include a high school diploma or GED, completion of an accredited nursing program, and licensure as a Registered Nurse in Texas. Preferred qualifications include additional certifications, experience, and advanced degrees.
Must meet certification requirements such as BLS and NRP, with additional relevant certifications preferred.
