Role: Inpatient Registered Nurse in a float pool setting, providing comprehensive patient care across multiple facilities.
Responsibilities include:
- Performing assessments within scope of practice and standards.
- Addressing physical, psychological, social, cultural, and spiritual patient needs.
- Formulating and coordinating care plans, including patient education and discharge planning.
- Administering treatments, medications, and diagnostic procedures.
- Evaluating intervention effectiveness and adjusting care accordingly.
- Collaborating with physicians and interdisciplinary teams to meet patient needs.
- Troubleshooting equipment and participating in evidence-based practice decisions.
- Engaging in quality and safety initiatives and team goals.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Graduate from a Specialty Training Program (required).
- Ability to float between multiple hospital locations.
- Strong teamwork, communication, and problem-solving skills.
Work Environment & Schedule: Typically in a clinical setting with rotating day/night shifts, including weekends and holidays, involving 36 hours weekly with three 12-hour shifts.
