Position: Registered Nurse responsible for providing direct perioperative care to pediatric, adult, and geriatric patients during surgical procedures.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess surgical environment for safety concerns and intervene appropriately.
- Collaborate with the surgical team to facilitate procedures.
- Act as a patient advocate throughout the perioperative process.
- May oversee orientation, training, and supply management for staff.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Graduate of an approved nursing program; BSN preferred.
- Licensed as an RN in Illinois.
- CPR/BLS certification from the American Heart Association.
- Two years of perioperative RN experience preferred.
- Basic computer skills required.
