Position: Registered Nurse – Emergency Department
Location: Arlington Heights, IL
Role Summary: Provide comprehensive patient assessment, coordinate care plans, and deliver safe, timely interventions. Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members. Individualize patient and family education based on assessment and participate in quality improvement initiatives to evaluate nursing practice.
Qualifications & Skills: Successful completion of an accredited nursing program (Associate’s or BSN), current Illinois nursing licensure, and CPR certification from the American Heart Association. Professional knowledge of current nursing standards, laws, and regulations.
Key Duties:
- Assess patients and gather health data.
- Coordinate and implement care plans.
- Communicate clearly with all stakeholders.
- Provide tailored education to patients and families.
- Participate in quality improvement efforts.
- Maintain up-to-date nursing knowledge and skills.
Compensation ranges from $37.25 to $57.74 hourly, based on experience.
