Role: Inpatient Registered Nurse responsible for delivering comprehensive patient care in a clinical setting, including assessments, treatments, medications, and diagnostic studies.
Responsibilities: Provide direct care, formulate and implement care plans, collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, and evaluate nursing interventions for effectiveness. Delegate tasks appropriately, promote teamwork, troubleshoot equipment, and participate in quality and safety initiatives. Support patient and family education, discharge planning, and contribute to unit decision-making and evidence-based practices.
Qualifications & Skills: Graduate from a Specialty Training Program in Nursing, with a valid nursing license (or eligible to work under a Temporary Practice Permit). Strong communication, teamwork, problem-solving, and clinical judgment skills are essential. Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment with a focus on safety and quality.
Key Duties: Care for diverse patient populations in a Level 2 trauma environment, including trauma, behavioral health, STEMI, stroke, and cardiac care. Shift work involves evenings, nights, and holidays. Support a shared governance model and participate actively in organizational initiatives to improve patient outcomes.
