Role Overview: Responsible for delivering comprehensive inpatient nursing care, assessing patient needs, developing and implementing care plans, and evaluating treatment effectiveness. Collaborates with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate treatments, provide education, and ensure patient safety and satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform patient assessments and address physical, psychological, social, cultural, and spiritual needs.
- Develop, coordinate, and revise individualized care plans including discharge planning and family education.
- Administer treatments, medications, and diagnostic tests per policy.
- Evaluate and adjust nursing interventions based on patient responses.
- Collaborate with physicians and team members to resolve patient needs proactively.
- Participate in unit-based decision-making and quality improvement initiatives.
- Engage in patient safety and quality education activities.
Qualifications include graduation from a nursing specialty training program, with a preference for a Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing.
