Role Overview: This position involves providing comprehensive inpatient nursing care, assessing patients, developing and implementing care plans, and collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Complete assessments and address physical, psychological, social, cultural, and spiritual needs of patients and families.
- Formulate, coordinate, and execute individualized care plans, including patient education and discharge planning.
- Administer treatments, medications, and diagnostic procedures in accordance with policies.
- Evaluate intervention effectiveness and adjust care plans as needed.
- Collaborate proactively with physicians, staff, and other team members to resolve patient needs.
- Troubleshoot equipment issues and participate in evidence-based practice decision-making.
- Contribute to quality and safety initiatives, promoting a culture of continuous improvement.
Qualifications & Skills: Must have graduated from a nursing specialty training program; a bachelor’s degree is preferred. Demonstrates compassionate, patient-centered care, strong teamwork, problem-solving, and effective communication skills.
Work Environment & Additional Details: Typically performed in a clinical setting with shifts from 3 p.m. to 3:30 a.m., including every other weekend and holidays. The role emphasizes safety, excellence, learning, innovation, and kindness, fostering a collaborative and diverse workplace.
