Position: Registered Nurse
Location: LOH Main – Naperville
Type: Part-Time, 20 hrs/week, Days
Responsibilities include:
Assessing patient conditions, developing and administering care plans, documenting care, and evaluating outcomes.
Welcoming patients, promoting a safe environment, and ensuring real-time documentation and rounds.
Facilitating patient admissions, transfers, and discharges through collaboration with departments.
Interacting with patients, families, and healthcare providers to address physical, psychosocial, and discharge needs.
Participating in interdisciplinary planning, contributing to department goals, and improving departmental functions.
Assisting in staff selection, orientation, and program evaluation; serving as a role model and resource.
Attending training, explaining policies, and engaging with community groups on mental health issues.
Supervising direct care when needed, working within budget constraints.
Qualifications:
- Registered Nurse license in Illinois.
- CPR certification; CPI certification within 90 days of hire.
- Preferred: psychiatric experience, knowledge of abnormal psychology, therapeutic system management.
- Must maintain confidentiality and possess a nursing degree.
