Role Overview: Critical Care RN within a float pool, delivering high-acuity patient care across multiple facilities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide evidence-based, individualized nursing care utilizing the full nursing process.
- Manage complex, high-acuity patients confidently with clinical expertise.
- Administer medications, infusions, and treatments safely and accurately.
- Respond swiftly to emergencies and critical patient condition changes.
- Partner with patients and families to educate, advocate, and empower.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure optimal care standards.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Graduate of an accredited nursing program; BSN preferred.
- Active RN license (compact or single state).
- BLS from AHA required; ACLS required; CCRN certification preferred.
- Minimum of 2+ years recent critical care experience (ICU, CVICU, SICU, MICU).
- Strong clinical judgment, critical thinking, and excellent communication skills.
- Ability to remain calm in fast-paced, high-pressure environments; highly adaptable and team-oriented.
